Fine beads of energetic bubbles create a silky mousse for Winemaker Nicole Hitchcock’s wine of the month for May. Backed by aromas of sweet blackberry and a fruit driven palate, our Blanc de Noirs hits all the right notes.
This plush and velvety-smooth Pinot Noir offers rich dark berry characteristics intricately layered with touches of spice and earthiness. Fruit-forward notes of dark cherry, blackberry, plum and cranberry seamlessly intertwine with hints of clove, cocoa dust and forest floor.
Fermented in neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel, this wine offers just a touch of oak character that frames the bright, fruit-driven expression. Notes of yellow apple and ripe melon on the nose are carried through on the smooth, nicely weighted palate.
Offering perfumed aromas, brightness and delicacy that define the best of the style, this wine shines with appealing notes of juicy tangerine, white peach and citrus with dried raspberry, strawberry and tart pomegranate characteristics. It’s no wonder why this wine was winemaker Nicole Hitchcock’s wine of the month for June.
