2017 Edition No. 2 Pinot Noir

Upon opening, right away the wine expresses the dominant fruit notes, concentration and bright acidity characteristic of Annapolis Ridge, evolving into the distinctive forest floor and savory notes that are a hallmark of Canfield Vineyard. Notes of ripe black cherry, wild blackberry, dried fruit and baking spices are prominent on the forefront of the palate, harmoniously knitting into hints of damp earth, fennel seed and cranberry. Plush, layered and generous, with fine tannins, this is one of the most distinctive Pinot Noirs we have ever made.
