2018 Barrel 16 Chardonnay
Our Barrel 16 Chardonnay is a showcase of our finest Chardonnay lots of each vintage. An intriguing blend of six clones, this wine offers rich, layered character with a lingering, memorable finish. Round and appealingly weighty on the palate, as rich, creamy notes of custard and Tahitian vanilla blend seamlessly with hints of baked Golden Delicious apple, pear, spiced lemon and candied ginger.

This comes skipping out of the glass with bright, carefree scents of nectarines, Golden Delicious apples and Bosc pears with touches of sea spray, candied citrus peel and orange blossoms with a waft of almonds. Medium-bodied, clean, pure and very focused in the mouth, the 2018 Chardonnay Barrel 16 has a racy backbone and creamy texture, finishing long and mineral laced. 400 cases were made.
