The wine opens with aromas of Italian maraschino cherries, anise and a touch of cinnamon. A lingering acidity on the full palate complements soft, silky tannins. Delicately layered, nuanced notes of ripe raspberry, black cherry, mocha and forest floor linger on the palate, finishing with hints of spice.
