Our 2015 Canfield Vineyard Pinot Noir is an expression of the Canfield Vineyard located in the southern tip of the Russian River Valley. Cold, windy and close the coast, the Pinot Noir from this vineyard begins with aromas of dried lavender, Rainier cherry and Applewood chips enveloped with whispers of umami. Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Canfield Vineyard has a lovely fragrant earth and floral nose over a core of Bing cherries, crushed raspberries and lavender. Medium to full-bodied with a firm structure of very finely grained tannins and wonderful freshness supporting the intense red berry and earth layers, it finishes on a lingering mineral note. 500 cases were made.
