Our elegant and refined 2012 Extra Late Disgorged is a stellar example of the depth, nuance and grace that can be gained over 11 years of extended aging. Delicate, ultra-fine bubbles and a lacy, creamy mousse open on the beautifully detailed palate. Hints of honeycomb, apricot, apple chips and mandarin seamlessly blend with richer, more savory notes of toasted sourdough, cherry-almond marzipan, sea spray and a touch of gardenia before a crisp, mouth-watering finish.

The 2012 XLD Sparkling is the most recent release of J Vineyards’ Extra Late Disgorged style. Composed of 61% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir and 3% Meunier, it has savory aromas of coffee, mushroom powder, almonds, candle smoke and beeswax. The palate is dynamic, combining rich, pastry-laced flavors with bright acidity and three grams dosage, and it has a long, nutty finish.
