Our Bow Tie Vineyard Pinot Noir is a classic example of the Middle Reach neighborhood of the Russian River Valley. Our inaugural release of J Blanc de Noirs, this wine is an ode to our first sparkling wines made from our original estate vineyard, Nicole’s. Our 2015 J Vineyards & Winery Barrel 16 Pinot Noir is a flavorful expression of the diversity of the Russian River Valley’s myriad microclimates and soils, with grapes are sourced exclusively from our estate vineyards located throughout the region. Our Annapolis Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is distinguished by its terroir-driven style highly reflective of this rugged coastal site. The wine’s depth on the palate is framed by finessed tannins and an uplift of acidity that will support long aging in the cellar. Vintage 2017 brings notes of dusty wild blackberry, baked blueberry, cranberry, dates and black mission fig at the forefront, with hints of supple leather, cocoa powder, mocha and dried fall leaves deeper into the layered palate. Our 2017 Eastside Knoll Pinot Noir offers extraordinary depth and complexity for a standout vintage. The wine opens with intricate aromas reminiscent of dusty, ripe wild blackberries, forest pine and herbal underbrush. The palate is supple and concentrated. Bright fruit-driven notes of macerated black cherry, blueberry and dark plum, with intriguing hints of herbal eucalyptus, leather and clove that will become more pronounced as the wine evolves.
