The fifth and final release in the Noir Collection showcases the impact of whole-cluster and indigenous yeast fermentation. Opens with aromas of blueberry and sweet oak spice, characteristics that carry through to the broad, full and layered palate. Generous notes of ripe blue and tart red fruit, like boysenberry, plum, dark cherry and cranberry, blend beautifully with richer hints of roasted strawberry, forest and spice. Tea leaf characteristics and fine tannins, a quality of whole-cluster fermentation, add texture and complexity before a long finish.

Our J Cuvée 20 Brut opens with nuanced aromas of toasted almond, followed by notes of Braeburn apple, dried cranberry and ginger snap. A delicate dance of bubbles leads to a soft palate with flavors of lemon meringue pie, as the wine’s creaminess is whisked away by a lively finish.

Our Barrel 16 Pinot Noir represents the best of the vintage from our diverse Russian River Valley vineyard sites. Beautifully complex, vintage 2020 offers intriguing layers to explore. Opening with generous aromas of spice and fresh-picked berries, the palate brings richness and fullness with a touch of baked fruit character. Lavish notes of blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and plum mingle with hints of earthy rhubarb, chocolate, dark toast and gingerbread, each sip highlighting different nuances and tastes.

Barrel 16 Pinot Noir is aged in a mix of new and neutral French oak, imparting subtle notes of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose and fine tannins on the palate. Velvety-smooth, notes of cranberry fruit leather, strawberry, star anise and dried rose are backed by hints of shiitake mushrooms.

Our expressive 2014 Vintage Brut has a lively, fine mousse and appealing aromas of red fruit and brioche toast. A blend of 52% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 13% Pinot Meunier, this full and round wine opens with generous red fruit notes of strawberry, raspberry and cherry blending with floral hibiscus and orange blossom characteristics. Richer, broader notes of cream, Danish pastry, hazelnut and lemon curd emerge through the mid-palate and finish. Focused, laser-like acidity lifts the wine, helping this Vintage Brut finish with mouth-watering panache.

Our estate Bow Tie Vineyard Pinot Noir was crafted entirely from grapes grown on our Bow Tie Vineyard, located along the Westside Road corridor south of Healdsburg. This classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir opens with aromas of blueberry, dried apricot and anise. The smooth, refined palate has hints of ripe Bing cherry, dried cranberry, violets and clove backed by a subtle kiss of roasted mushroom and pine.

Our Barrel 16 Chardonnay is a showcase of our finest Chardonnay lots of each vintage. Bright and floral on the nose, suggestions of vanilla and slow-toasted marshmallow emerge as you swirl. Luscious and tantalizingly complex on the palate, notes of fresh-picked citrus, white lily and baked pear are layered with richer hints of apple turnover, cheese danish and roasted pineapple. Wonderfully food-friendly, pair Barrel 16 Chardonnay with seafood piccata, herb-roasted rotisserie chicken or, for a cheese pairing, try Beemster gouda on sourdough crostini topped with orange marmalade.

Crafted entirely from our Eastside Knoll Vineyard, our smooth and spicy 2020 Pinot Noir is beautifully structured with soft, velvety tannins and bright, age-worthy acidity. Aromas of dark chocolate-covered cherries, blueberry and allspice offer a glimpse of the depth and complexity of the wine. Generous notes of plum, blackberry cobbler and pomegranate mingle on the palate with hints of clove, star anise, cocoa and bergamot tea. The long, lingering finish offers dark fruit characteristics framed by a subtle touch of oak.

A limited, small-lot wine, our elegant 2015 Vintage Brut Rosé is beautifully balanced between fruit, cream, texture and refreshing acidity, led by a fine mousse and ideal weight on the palate. Aromas of strawberry, rose petal and orange blossom evolve into notes of ripe mandarin, tangerine, white cherry, golden raspberry and strawberry compote on the palate. Subtle hints of sea spray and spice add deeper complexity and texture.

The vibrant and bright 2015 Blanc de Noirs opens with a light, creamy mousse and finishes with zesty finesse. This bubbly opens with aromas of red currant, wild raspberry and cherry blossom. On the full, supple palate, fruit-forward notes of pomegranate and wild berry blend with subtle hints of rose petal and brioche.

Honeysuckle and jasmine aromas emerge at first swirl of our bright and generous 2021 Russian River Valley Estate Pinot Gris. The expressive, silky-smooth palate brings fullness and viscosity with ripe peach, pear, kumquat and honeydew melon characteristics that layer with vibrant notes of key lime, pineapple guava and kiwifruit. Hints of spice, citrus and wet river rock offer a crisp, palate-refreshing finish.

Generously aromatic, our Foggy Bend Vineyard Pinot Noir shows off something special from the first, fragrant swirl. The wine opens with rich, expressive notes of blueberry, hibiscus, forest floor, freshly-turned earth and pine needles, a hallmark of Foggy Bend Pinot Noir. With brightness and acidity from Foggy Bend Vineyard’s site alongside the cool, misty banks of the Russian River, this is a wine that can age gracefully for several years after release. On the layered palate, black tea, red cherry, pomegranate and huckleberry notes blend with hints of savory spice, sage and pine.

Blanc de Noirs is a sparkling Pinot showcase, opening with an elegant, lacy mousse and fine, energetic bubbles. Primarily composed of Pinot Noir, the addition of about 25% Pinot Meunier contributes to the clarity and purity of the red fruit and floral characteristics. On the palate, generous notes of fresh-picked raspberry and strawberry are complemented by hints of rhubarb and dusty rose. A touch of minerality and cranberry adds nuance.

Our Foggy Bend Vineyard Pinot Noir shows off something special from the first, fragrant swirl. The wine opens with appealing brightness on the nose, leading to a smooth, beautifully layered palate. Earthy hints of forest floor, dried sage and peat at the forefront blend with notes of ripe wild blackberry, dark cherry, mocha and black mission fig before an elegant and refined finish. Bright acidity, firm tannins and well-integrated oak give age-worthy structure and length.

Made in the style of Extra Brut sparkling wines with very little residual sugar, our J Cuvée XB is an exceptionally crisp, dry wine that captivates with notes of Meyer lemon and baked Gravenstein apple enhanced by hints of lightly toasted slivered almonds. Aged for nearly three years en tirage, it concludes with layers of tangerine, peach blossom and Fromage blanc.

Our 2016 Eastside Knoll Pinot Noir opens with aromas of dark fruit, cinnamon and clove. On the soft, plush palate, hints of ripe plum, fig and pomegranate molasses blend seamlessly with rich, layered herbal and savory notes of thyme, sage, roasted fennel and forest floor.

Our exceptional Annapolis Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir is distinguished by its terroir-driven style highly reflective of this rugged coastal site. The wine's depth on the palate is framed by fine, finessed tannins and an uplift of bright acidity that will support long aging in the cellar. Dark fruit notes of blueberry, plum, black cherry and crushed wild blackberry present at the forefront , with spiced fig, nutmeg and dried florals adding contrast and lift. Hints of cream and soft leather on the full mid-palate bring richness before a long, layered finish.

Always the pinnacle of our sparkling portfolio, the 2011 Late Disgorged Vintage Brut opens with enticing aromas of sourdough cracker, citrus zest and hints of sea spray. A light, delicate mousse leads to a bright, zesty palate with notes of lemon curd, yuzu, candied ginger and golden raspberry, blending with hints of toast and finishing with a snap of wet stone minerality. A unique, standout vintage, this 2011 Late Disgorged Vintage Brut has the promise of beautiful longevity.

J Brut Rosé opens with layered characteristics of ripe raspberries, rose petals and a savory note of slivered almonds. The palate is elegant and flavorful, with notes of fresh mandarin orange, roasted strawberries and crème fraîche. Lively acidity and steely minerality frame a crisp, lingering finish. Pair this elegant sparkling rosé with traditional Spanish seafood paella, salmon tartare or camembert with candied kumquats and lavender almonds.

Our 2020 Barrel 16 Chardonnay showcases the finest Chardonnay lots of the vintage. Intriguingly layered aromatics offer hints of apple cobbler, vanilla bean, custard and baked pear, blending bright fruit characteristics and rich, creamy complexity. Wonderfully impactful on the palate, notes of meyer lemon, sweet orange, papaya and mango are supported by hints of toasted nuts, flaky croissant and a subtle suggestion of flint on the lengthy finish. Well-integrated oak notes offer depth and structure while allowing fruit to shine through.

Crafted from up to 100 individual small lots, the appealing 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir captures the classic characteristics of this renowned variety and region. Deeply layered and velvet-smooth, offering notes of perfectly ripe blackberry, black cherry, dark plum and cranberry that blend with hints of toast, spice, lavender and rose. Rich oak sweetness characteristics feature on the midpalate, while soft tannins add intriguing texture.

Detailed and deeply nuanced, Edition No. 3 captures the Green Valley’s bright fruit intensity, elevated acidity and structured, firm tannins that allow for extended aging. Highly aromatic, notes of fruit and tea leaf capture attention on the nose. The palate is deft and precise, as layers of spice blend harmoniously with concentrated cherry, raspberry, blueberry and dark fruit characteristics. Earthy hints of moss, porcini mushroom and Burgundian-like fresh green herbs add beautiful complexity before a long finish

Our Blanc de Blancs showcases the exquisite depth and quality of sparkling Russian River Valley Chardonnay. A bead of fine bubbles rises to form a lively, delicate mousse, lifting aromas of fresh green apple and orange blossom from the glass. Notes of Asian pear, nectarine and lemon curd evolve on the palate to richer, more savory baked apple pie and toasted pine nut characteristics. Beautifully crisp and dry, it finishes with bright, refreshing hints of sea spray.

Our J Cuvée 20 Brut Magnum opens with appealing, delicate aromas of orange blossom, honeysuckle and Anjou pear. A sparkling wine with beautiful depth and nuance, the layered, vibrant palate has notes of lemon meringue, Georgia peach, wild raspberry and dried cranberry, with hints of caramel, slivered almond candied ginger and Danish pastry developed over years of aging en tirage.
