Fermented almost entirely in neutral oak barrels and stainless steel with just a touch of new French oak, the crisp 2019 STRATA Chardonnay is a superbly balanced, terroir-driven taste of Russian River Valley. Notes of Gala apple, star fruit, Meyer lemon, mango and lime essence are lifted by the wine’s steely frame, supported by deeper, subtle layers of toast and spice. Fruit-forward, bright and balanced, STRATA Chardonnay is incredibly food friendly.

This wine is rich, earthy and soft in supple layers of baking spice, butterscotch and honeycomb. An undercurrent of bright acidity balances the bolder flavors and texture well.
