Vintage 2017 brings notes of dusty wild blackberry, baked blueberry, cranberry, dates and black mission fig at the forefront, with hints of supple leather, cocoa powder, mocha and dried fall leaves deeper into the layered palate. Dark fruit notes of blueberry, plum, black cherry and crushed wild blackberry present at the forefront , with spiced fig, nutmeg and dried florals adding contrast and lift. Hints of cream and soft leather on the full mid-palate bring richness before a long, layered finish.

Upon opening, right away the wine expresses the dominant fruit notes, concentration and bright acidity characteristic of Annapolis Ridge, evolving into the distinctive forest floor and savory notes that are a hallmark of Canfield Vineyard. Notes of ripe black cherry, wild blackberry, dried fruit and baking spices are prominent on the forefront of the palate, harmoniously knitting into hints of damp earth, fennel seed and cranberry. 2019 Annapolis Ridge Pinot Noir

Our Annapolis Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir captures the terroir of this rugged, mountaintop site in the far northern reaches of the West Sonoma Coast. Beautifully composed aromas of blueberry, cherry and plum are carried through on the silky, medium-bodied palate. Notes of wild berry, fruit leather and strawberry-rhubarb pie are layered with floral undertones and hints of anise and soft, supple leather. Well-integrated oak sweetness characteristics and fine tannins emerge on the mid-palate, persisting through the long, bright, acid-driven finish.
