2 pints of strawberries
1/8 cup white verjus
1/4 cup honey
Place strawberries in a glass or stainless steel bowl along with honey and verjus. Stir to combine ingredients. Cover the bowl with plastic. Bring a small sauce pan with 1/2 inch of water to a simmer and place the bowl on top of the sauce pan for 10 min.
Let cool, remove plastic and stir. Serve cold or warm in a bowl with whipped cream or spooned over your favorite dessert. Serves 4. Pairs well with J Brut Rose NV.
