J Pear Liqueur Cocktails

J Vineyards & Winery has been at the forefront of the wine and food experience since our first tasting program launched in 1999. All of the recipes have been created by our J Culinary Team to pair perfectly with our exceptional portfolio of varietal and sparkling wines.

Ingredients:

J Fizz
1 oz. J Pear Liqueur
Club Soda
Splash Orange Juice
Serve on the Rocks.

J Pear Mimosa
3 oz. J Vintage Brut
1 ½ oz. J Pear Liqueur
1 oz. Tangerine Juice

J Shake
1 oz. J Pear Liqueur
3 oz. Pineapple Juice
4 oz. Milk
1 tbs. Honey
3 Pineapple Chunks
Fill blender with ice; add ingredients and blend until smooth.

J Pear Eggnog
3 cup Milk
3 cup Cream
15 Egg Yolks
1 ½ cup Sugar
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 ½ cup J Pear Liqueur or to taste
Pinch of Kosher Salt

Method:

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of the milk with 1 cup of the cream and set aside. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and nutmeg until just blended. Whisk in the remaining 2 cups of milk and the remaining 2 cups of cream. Transfer the mixture to a large, heavy saucepan and place over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 180 degrees. Do not overheat or the mixture will curdle. Remove from the heat and immediately stir in the reserved milk and cream. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a storage container. Chill thoroughly, uncovered. Once chilled stir in 1 ½ cups J Pear Liqueur. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to marry flavors, or up to 3 days. Garnish with freshly grated or ground nutmeg.
