2020 Canfield Vineyard Pinot Noir
An unparalleled expression of our exceptional Canfield Vineyard, a cool, windy site at the southern tip of the Russian River Valley. Vintage 2020 offers classic characteristics of the vineyard and its dusty Goldridge soils, opening with notes of supple leather, blackberry, dark cherry and dried fig. Smooth and round in texture, hints of bramble, shitake mushroom, sage and forest floor emerge deeper into the richly layered plate.

Dark earth, strawberry, leather, and dried rose stems. Full-bodied with chocolate, ripe strawberry and oyster shell. Very creamy texture that goes long and true. The fine tannins come out at the end. Savory and pure fruit in the finish. Changes a lot in the glass. Thoughtful. Drink or hold.
