- Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varietals
- Low-yielding, small-clustered Pinot Noir vines, clones 113, 115 and 2A
- Concentrated, sumptuous fruit; blue-black and purple in color
- Spur pruned to a vertical trellis with western exposures
- Striations of gravel stress the vines and in turn, bring intense flavors

- Pinot Noir
- 50-acre site west of the Russian River
- J Vineyards & Winery's westernmost vineyard
- Benchland nestled between valley and hillside
- Soils are classified as Zamora silty clay loam, dense with gravel
- Heavily influenced by the rise and fall of the river
- Vines are trained on a three-wire vertical trellis with southeastern exposure
- Produces layers of flavor with great backbone and finesse
- Coolest location, offers slow ripening, long hang time

- Pinot Gris of exceptional character
- Three acres located adjacent to the winery
- Clones 152 and 146
- Fruit is intensely perfumed with aromas of tangerine, spice, and tropical fruit
River Road
- Chardonnay
- 20 valley floor acres, the foggiest of J's vineyards
- 5C rootstock, Robert Young, and See's clones, planted in 1991
- Bright floral flavors of chamomile, with good malic structure
