New Exclusive Benefit for Club J Members!
The Club J Lounge
Beginning in with the February 2008 Club J selection, J will host a series of open house lounges for you to enjoy. Visit J to pick up your current selection or just stop by to spend a little time with us. You will be hosted in our Balcony Lounge, or on our Fountain Patio if the weather is nice, and treated to a taste of the wines in your selection as well as special food pairings designed by our Executive Chef, Mark E. Caldwell.
The Club J Lounge is complimentary for Member and one guest, and RSVP is not required. If you would like to pick up your Club J selection during your visit you must be a "Will Call" member. However, it is not necessary to be a will call member to attend. Please consult the following calendar for a list of Club J Lounge dates.

J is teaming up with Fired Up Kitchens to bring you a day of high-fired good taste. Peter de Jong has been a chef for over 25 years and recently studied with masons in Europe to learn to build wood burning ovens. Peter and our Chef, Mark E. Caldwell will create delicious pizzas featuring organic heirloom tomatoes from Middleton Farms, artisan cheeses from Bellwether Farms, and olive oil from Dry Creek Olive Oil Company. Pair these seasonal harvest pizzas with Pinot Noir from J and you are living well. Learn how the right oven and seasonal ingredients make for a perfect late-summer meal. Take home a gift basket full of the main ingredients to have a pizza and pinot party at your own home.

The grapes are finally ready to become the next luscious batch of J wines. We can think of no better way to celebrate the annual harvest than with a delicious dinner! We’ll be pouring our fabulous J Vintage Brut, J Brut Rosé and J Cuvée 20 to compliment the scrumptious Hors d’oeurves, created by our very own Executive Chef, Mark E. Caldwell. The swing band, Hot House, will round out the festivities.

West County Epicurean Tour with J

Western Sonoma County is renowned for growing brilliant wines and it is also mecca for artisan food producers. If you are passionate about food and wine, then join us on Saturday September 27 for an epicurean tour of western Sonoma County.
Your day begins at the winery where you will enjoy a flute of bubbly before boarding the bus destined for Middleton Farms. Proprietor Nancy Skall has been supplying organic produce to the Bay Areas top chefs such as Alice Waters and Michael Minna for years. Tour her farm and taste some of the best tomatoes and pears in the world. The farm store will be open for purchases.
Next stop is Café St Rose, West County's newest restaurant. Out in the country with his own organic garden, Chef and owner Mark Malicky will provide a pre-fixe lunch featuring wines from J Vineyards & Winery.
Sated from lunch, you will be whisked away to Valley Ford to meet Cheesemakers Liam and Diana Callahan of Bellwether Farms. Not normally open to the public, this successful producer of sheep and cow's milk cheeses and yogurt will give you an inside view into artisan cheesemaking. End the day back at the winery with a glass of Chardonnay on the Terrace. This is an exclusive opportunity to get an inside track to some of the hottest players in the Sonoma County food scene. Make your reservation early as this event is limited to the first 20 guests that contact us.

Bellwether Farms Dairy was established about 20 years ago along the Sonoma County coast. The focus is sheep’s milk cheeses as well as cow’s milk cheeses and the Callahan family is dedicated to traditional methods and high quality. These cheeses are represented in some of the finest restaurants across the country and have been featured in the NY Times, Sunset Magazine, Martha Stewart, as well as many other gourmet publications.
