| River Road Vineyard |
Nestled between Mark West Creek in the north and River Road in the south, this long and rectangular 20-acre vineyard grows classic Pinot Gris fruit. This is one of the coolest areas of the Russian River appellation for the fog bank is often trapped in this location until late in the day. Wines made from these grapes goes to the J Russian River Pinot Gris.

Planting History: Planted in 1991 to three clones of Chardonnay, it's Vineyard Designation was T-budded over to Pinot Gris starting in 1999 and continuing on to spring 2001. |
Trellis & Spacing: Vines are planted at a density of 726 vines per acre on a 3-wire VSP. 7' x 10' spacing. |
