J Pinot Noir, Nicole's Vineyard

Nicole’s is a 45.8-acre hillside vineyard comprised of Arbuckle soil. The uplifted river material and striations of gravel stress the vinesbringing intense flavors to the wine. Selected grape clusters were hand-harvested at night to ensure the best conditions. Aromas of leather, mushroom and cocoa intermingle with dark plum, cinnamon and vanilla. The wine has a smooth entry with a rich andfleshy mid-palate followed by a long, spicy finish with notes of fig, dark cherry and fennel mixed with caramel undertones.

J Pinot Noir, Nicole's Vineyard, Block 4

Culled from J's crown jewel vineyard, Nicole's Block 4 represents the best of Nicole's Vineyard fruit.  Planted in 1990, Block 4 consists of 23 acres of the Pinot Noir clone 2A (Wadenswill) on 5C rootstock and yields a wine of deep color and expansive mouthfeel.

J Pinot Noir, Robert Thomas Vineyard

Our Robert Thomas Vineyard lies at the western edge of Russian River Valley, giving it a long, cool growing season during which Pinot Noir grapes ripen to perfection. Wines from this site have rich black cherry and lavender character, with attractive herbal and earth nuances.

J Pinot Noir, Sibling Cuvée

J’s Sibling Cuvée Pinot Noir is an extremely limited production, elegant composition of wines made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from Nicole’s and Robert Thomas Vineyards, two of our estate vineyards in the Russian River Valley named after the children of our Founder & President, Judy Jordan.

J Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir captures the essence of cool-climate, site-specific Pinot Noir.  This Pinot Noir is a luxurious wine bursting with concentrated aromas of strawberries, cherries, and blueberries.  Featuring a broad body and lively acidity, its complex layering of fruit with caramel, vanilla, and baking spices represents the epitome of great Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

J Pinot Noir, Barrel 16

The Barrel 16 Pinot Noir is a wonderful expression of J Vineyards 274 acres of estate vineyards in the Russian River Valley.  These precious sixteen barrels personify J's efforts to unite our vineyard's diverse microclimates with advanced site-specific winemaking techniques. 

J Pinot Noir, Nonny's Vineyard

This new wine comes from four blocks of Pinot Noir in Nonny’s Vineyard – a 70-acre lot adjacent to River Road in the Russian River Valley. Soft, earthy aromas mingle with enticing notes of dark fruit and cooked strawberries.

J Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley

This intense wine is a blend of Pinot Noir from several of our Russian River Valley vineyards. Crisp acidity balances rich black fruit, raspberry, and intriguing vanilla notes.

J Pinot Noir, Bateman Vineyard

Located on Mill Station Road near the farming community of Graton, the main feature of Bateman Vineyard is how dramatically it drops from the road down to Atascadero Creek. The 13-acre vineyard is planted entirely on French clones including 667 and Pommard.

J Pinot Noir, Galante Vineyard

Galante Vineyard is located on Cherry Ridge Road between Sebastopol and the small farming community of Graton. This 23-acre vineyard, farmed by the Dutton Family, is planted with a selection of French Pinot Noir clones including 667, 777, and Pommard.
