Our Robert Thomas Vineyard lies at the western edge of Russian River Valley, giving it a long, cool growing season during which Pinot Noir grapes ripen to perfection. Wines from this site have rich black cherry and lavender character, with attractive herbal and earth nuances.

This intense wine is a blend of Pinot Noir from several of our Russian River Valley vineyards. Crisp acidity balances rich black fruit, raspberry, and intriguing vanilla notes.
J Pinot Noir, STRATA
Terroir, the melding of vineyard location, soils, clone types, and weather influence, combined with winemaker skill, is at the heart of J’s STRATA Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The distinctive stratified sand and gravel soils of the Russian River Valley play an important role in flavor development. STRATA is also a tip-of-the-hat to our owner, Judy Jordan, a trained geologist.
