2010 J Pinot Gris, Russian River Valley
This special edition of the 2010 J Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Gris has a bouquet of honeysuckle, orange blossom and lime on the nose, with hints of mango and jasmine. A crisp, clean entry and velvety mouthfeel unfold into flavors of sweet summer melon, tangerine and peach cobbler. There is a hint of honey on the palate that nicely complements the fruit and acid. This well balanced and layered wine offers flavors that pair well with a variety of foods, from spicy Thai cuisine to south of the border Mexican dishes that are moderately spiced.
